Are you worried that your child isn’t learning any math right now?

I get it. With schools closed and the whole world in chaos, it can be scary to think about what these disruptions mean for your child’s future.

Has trying to get your child to do math become a daily vortex of frustration, fights, and tears? Are you concerned because your child just shuts down whenever they don’t understand a problem?

This can be especially tough if you don’t know how to help them, particularly if your child is in high school (who actually remembers this stuff??). Maybe this stress is affecting your family as a whole.

Maybe you’ve tried looking at some YouTube videos or some materials from your child’s school, but it’s all so overwhelming and confusing.

It can be really hard to know how to help your child, especially since math is often taught so differently today than it used to be. You really don’t have time to relearn math in the middle of a pandemic!

At the end of the day, you just want to know that your child’s math education isn’t going to suffer for the rest of this year!

I have been a math educator for over a decade, and have extensive experience making math fun and accessible in virtual settings.

I know how hard it is for working parents and caregivers to have everyone at home all at once. You’ve got your own work to worry about, and your child either has no work sent home from their school or the work they’re supposed to do is confusing and frustrating them.

In my work as an educator, I’ve seen firsthand the pain that students’ negative experiences with math can create – how they lose their confidence, shut down easily, and learn to viscerally hate math.

And I’ve also seen their transformation into confident young mathematicians who actually enjoy math because it makes sense to them (even when learning remotely!).

That’s why I created Virtual Math Support, so your child can continue learning math, even when schools are closed.

I know that every single child is capable of mathematical brilliance, and I know how frustrating and sad it is to see your child’s education be thrown into chaos by global events.

I want to help your child become a confident student who loves math and can continue their education in these trying times.

Imagine if you didn't have to worry about your child's math education. How would your family life be different if you didn’t have to cajole, bribe, or argue with your child to get them to do their math work?

How would your child feel about their schoolwork in general if they were confident in their ability to do math?

How would you feel as a parent, knowing you were helping to set them up for success in a world that increasingly requires comfort and fluency with mathematics?

My program will help you:

  • Reclaim the dynamic you really want to have with your child, so that you don’t have to be their math teacher

  • Make sure your child has a strong math background when applying to college

If you would like to explore working together, please click the button to apply now.

On our call we’ll discuss your child’s history with math, the current situation in your child’s school district, and your hopes for your child’s future. This is an individually customized program, so we’ll make sure that it is a good fit and discuss the investment.

Due to the individualized nature of my program, I only work with a small number of students at a time, so please apply now if you are interested in helping your child stay on track with math.

Virtual Math Support is fundamentally more than math tutoring or other supplemental math programs. My goal is not to simply help your child with one math homework assignment or to improve their skills in one or two specific topics. Because of my personalized approach, my goal is to ensure that your child’s math education doesn’t miss a beat, no matter what’s going on in the world or how their school district is responding to current events.

My goal is to help you make sure your child's math education stays on track.

I would love to learn more about your child and help them on their academic journey in these trying times.

I look forward to speaking with you and learning about your child!

Talk to you soon,

Joe
